XURON 170-II Micro-Shear® Flush Cutter

The Xuron 170-II flush cutter, designed for shear cutting soft wire, is made of alloy steel and features a return spring and nonslip hand grips. It can cut soft wire up to 20 American wire gauge (AWG) (0.8 mm). The alloy steel flush cutter has a Rockwell hardness of 54-56C, ensuring strength, and a return spring that requires minimal hand movement. The compact design of the flush cutter allows access into small areas, and the nonslip hand grips provide comfort and control during use. The Xuron 170-II flush cutter can be utilized to trim wire in precision electronics work and plastic degating.

The dimensions of the flush cutter are 5 x 1.85 x .50 inches (H x W x D), and it weighs 2.05 oz. (H represents the height, the vertical distance from the lowest to the highest point; W represents the width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D represents the depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) Flush cutters are wire cutters that are ground to the apex of the cutting edge on one jaw side, allowing for an even cut.
